You might start seeing more wieners in your neck of the woods, thanks to a new move from Oscar Mayer. The iconic Wienermobile is getting some new roll dogs.
The hot dog behemoth is expanding its vehicle fleet with two new additions. It’s all in a move to highlight the new recipe for Oscar Mayer hot dogs, which doesn’t include any nitrates or nitrites.
The WienerDrone and WienerCycle have joined the famous Wienermobile, WienerRover and WienerMini. This news is right up there with when the Wienermobile successfully navigated through the famous corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Or when someone crashed the wiener-shaped vehicle into a house, shocking the nation.
Technically, the WienerCycle is a three-wheeled moped, and unfortunately not a big hog motorcycle. It does feature a functional sidecar that operates as a wiener warming compartment.
That makes sense, because it’s supposed to be an urban wiener delivery machine. It fits in small spaces, so parking is not an issue.

An even bigger deal is the WienerDrone. After all, it’s the first unmanned hot dog-carrying aircraft ever. That is an important milestone for humanity and definitely more important than UPS using drones on their delivery vans.
Thanks to its design, the WienerDrone can deliver hot dogs to hard-to-reach locations.
“As the most iconic brand, we’re going where other hot dogs can’t. We’re committed to getting our new hot dog in everyone’s hands – and going to great lengths to do this. We knew that was a job for more than just our existing Wienermobile,” said head of marketing at Oscar Mayer, Greg Guidotti.
“So, we’ve expanded our Oscar Mayer fleet, ensuring every American can taste the new recipe because we believe everyone deserves a better hot dog.”
If you have the good fortune of living nearby Weiner, Arkansas, you’re in luck. Oscar Mayer will be taking the whole fleet to the local Fourth of July celebration.
Of course, Oscar Mayer will be serving up its new hot dogs for free.
Other people around the United States will be able to see the fleet of wieners in action, because Oscar Mayer is going to be touring the nation.
You can follow updates on the next stops by visiting Oscar Mayer’s official Twitter feed, so you don’t miss a stop in your area.
