Chevrolet Corvette Z06

One of the most iconic nameplates of the American auto industry is the Corvette. With a Corvette, you’ll always find yourself smiling when you get out from behind the wheel because it’s just so much fun. Like the Viper, the Corvette stakes its name on raw power, which the Z06 has in droves. It’s supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 pumps out 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque and runs from 0-60 miles per hour in just over 3 seconds.

The Corvette Z06 is all about the driver’s relationship with the road, so comfort is tertiary. You’ll feel every bump, notice every road surface through the steering wheel, and if you aren’t a sports car purist, you may even find the Corvette uncomfortable after a while.

You won’t be able to deny the pure joy you experience behind the wheel though the rest of the driving experience is somewhat lackluster. Again, standard convenience options exist but you won’t get the same level of luxury as you’d find in the Mercedes or a BMW. All in all, the Corvette Z06 is still nothing short of outstanding at just over $80k base price. Hard to believe it’s one of the fastest sports cars under 100K.

Mercedes-Benz AMG SLC43 Roadster

One of the more exotic-looking cars on the list is the AMG SLC43. It might not be one of the best luxury cars like its cousin the AMG GT, but this gorgeous beast combines the luxuries you want to pamper yourself with a handcrafted powertrain that impresses even the most skeptical critic. Its AMG-enhanced 3.0L V6 biturbo produces 362 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. It takes an estimated 4.6 seconds to go from 0-60 miles per hour.

The coupe is actually a hardtop convertible for open-air cruising. Supply leather, sexy lines, and chrome accents punctuate its appearance while more creature comforts inhabit this car than you could expect. Take the AIRSCARF for instance – it blows warm air over your neck and shoulders so you can keep the top down for longer without getting cold.

You can find yourself behind the wheel of the Mercedes-Benz AMG SLC43 Roadster for just $73,525. It certainly fits the criteria for our list of the fastest sports cars under 100K.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Let’s just say its moniker does all the talking. ‘Hellcat’ is an apt name for the 707-horsepower leviathan. The moment the engine is started its throaty rumble hypnotizes you. You break out of the trance as soon as you lay into the throttle, accelerating away from everyone else around you.

The Challenger SRT Hellcat could stand a bit of a refresher, however, otherwise, it likely would have ranked a bit higher. Its design is getting a bit dated, but it’s not reflected in its sales numbers. The Hellcat series consistently sells out, and it’s no wonder as the price tag starts at only $62,495. Try getting 700 horsepower for less.
