5. Chevy Impala

Sure, Chevy’s had their share of negative press in the last year or so, but the 2015 Impala still ranks as one of the most family-friendly cars on the road. It’s spacious, with room for the entire family. The trunk is positively cavernous, too. It’s even comfortable enough for adults to ride in the back without feeling like they’re being squeezed into a kiddie seat. In terms of technology, you’ll find Bluetooth and satellite radio, but the Impala even offers a Wi-Fi hotspot as part of its standard features.

4. Honda CR-V

This makes Honda’s second entry to this list, and it’s well deserved. The CR-V might not have the off-road prowess of a Jeep, but it’s no slouch. It’s also one of the more family-friendly cars than many other compact SUVs on the market, delivering both good fuel economy and decent interior space (for both passengers and cargo). The CR-V can seat up to five people, and it gets 34 MPG on the highway. Coupled with its $23,000 price tag, it should be one of the top contenders out there for your purchase.

3. Kia K900

Want a family-friendly car but don’t want to sacrifice luxury? If that’s the case, then you might want to turn away from those German automakers and consider Kia. The K900 offers classic luxury car lines and more perks than you’ll get with a Euro auto. It’s also priced well under its competitors, while delivering features and equipment not available with many other models. It offers a spacious trunk and interior, and leather is standard.
